America already has the Raptor and it's probably more capable. (But I could be wrong)

China's J-20 is cheaper to produce and easier, while the USA's Raptor is very expensive and takes a long time to produce. Due to this fact even if raptors have a higher shootdown rate they will soon be overwhelmed.

Hmm. Possibly. Again, I would wait for it to reach operational service before making such judgements. In the unlikely event of any such confrontation (The US and China are economically intwined) the US is unlikely to be alone and the US still accounts for the majority of military spending on the planet
